We advocate that you have a plan tailored to your needs before you go to any networking event.. You might want new leads. You might want to find a new vendor. Even if your plan is just to get the free goodies and have fun, at least you have a plan. One of the most important things to plan is to make sure that your follow up on every contact. . For me, the idea of building a sustainable business is a philosophy of steadily building and protecting a business. Customer retention, brand and revenue models are just three of the many tools that can help a sustain a business long term. I am especially passionate about recurring revenue models.
